My name is Rhonda and for the past few years I really started looking into getting a gastric precedure done. I was tired of all the diets, the let downs, the depression from expectations that I had doing diet and exercise alone. I relized that I needed more to help me. Everything that I lost eventually I gainned back. So thats when I did my research on gastic precedures. I went to some semiars, and really gained some knowledge about what precedure was right for me, and so I chose the Lap-Band. Before I had the surgery I weighed 272. I was banded by Dr Feiz on March 16, 2007. To date I weigh 244. I am so glad that I did this surgery verses the gastric by-pass.

The lap-band works with me the way I want it too. I can say I have been given a gift. Because with out this surgery I would have continued to struggle and with the possibilities of being very unhealthy in the future. I have the most awesome Dr that has helped me change my life for the better. This is something that I will have the rest of my life, to go with a huge smile. I have never felt better. I am eatting better, working out without struggling like in the past. And I am more comfortable in public. I have a sense of self worth that with being overweight took that away. Now I have so much joy in knowing that I will no longer be a "fat, morbidly obese" person. That in itself is such an amazing feeling. I'm glad i made the desecision to have the surgery, I wouldnt change it for the world. I want to thank Dr. Feiz for his amazing work, and the happiness he has given me for the rest of my life. He is AWESOME!
